Parent Leadership 2019

Leading Together for a Change is a parent/carer leadership course starting in March 2019.

This course is for Parents/Carers of a child with a learning disability and/or autism who live in the North East or Cumbria.

We are looking for up to 13 parents/carers from across the North East and Cumbria who:

  • Have and interest or experience in being a leader
  • Want to work together with others to change things
  • Understand the commitment to the course and are able to attend all sessions

The course consists of 12 sessions over 8 months (excluding school holidays) and includes a residential weekend (overnight optional).

We are currently running a Tenancy Support project in conjunction with local housing associations:

  • Karbon Homes
  • Your Homes Newcastle

We our providing traning and support to tenants with a learning disability to help support them with their tenancy.
