What is a Safe Place?
- A place people can go if they don’t feel safe or need some help
- A place in the community that people know is there in case they need it. This can help people to be more confident to go out on their own or with friends.
Who is a Safe Place for?
- Adults who might be vulnerable
- This includes people with a learning disability, a physical disability, autism, or dementia
How can a Safe Place help you?
- A safe and friendly place
- A place to sit and have a rest
- People to listen and understand
- People who can help you
- People who can call someone you know
Safe Places in Redcar & Cleveland is part of the Teeswide Safe Place Scheme.
