There are a number of charities that also arrange subsidised breaks for families who are members of their organisation.

Down’s Syndrome North East

They offer information, support and activities for people with Down’s Syndrome and their families. They organise subsidised activity and leisure breaks for their members.

Deafblind UK

They offer support and information for people who are deafblind or living with a combined loss of sight and hearing. They have a caravan at Great Yarmouth available at a subsidised rate for members.

Cerebra

Cerebra is a charity whose aim is to help children aged 16 and under with brain injury (both traumatic and acquired) and neurological problems. This includes conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, learning difficulties, ADHD and Down’s Syndrome.

They have a holiday home sleeping up to 10 people in Wales which is free for families to borrow. Signed and completed applications to be received by 31st July to go into the draw.

Happy Days

Provide funding for a family holiday, day trips, theatre trips and residential trips for children aged between 3 and 17 years old, and have special needs, usually in the UK.

Provide advice, practical support and campaign for single parents.
