To coincide with national action taking place in London, Liverpool, Birmingham,
Brighton and Leeds we will stage a protest at Grey’s Monument, Newcastle
upon Tyne, on Wednesday the 26th of June at 12pm – 1pm.

Pottery Celebration – 12th October

On 12th October 2018 we are celebrating a extremely important member of our pottery group that we lost this year. Come and have a cup of tea, cakes and a chat with the pottery group as they celebrate Malcolm. There will also be an exhibition of their work. There is also a raffle for some work created by the pottery group which will be drawn that afternoon.

Mindfulness for Life Funding

We have just been awarded funding that includes developing our course for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.  We are in the early stages of planning this. We will be updating our events page when the new course will be going ahead.

Self Advocacy in Cumbria and the North East

We have been finding out about self advocacy (speaking up) groups in the North East and Cumbria.  We are working with our colleagues in these organisations to highlight the challenges they face, and to make sure they survive into the future.
