They have 2 projects offering holidays for families with a disabled family member –

1) The Daisy Chain Project

2) The Canal Boat Project.

1) The Daisy Chain Project

This is a respite holiday programme for families who have children with special needs.

They offer self contained, peaceful accommodation for families living in difficult circumstances and are situated in Blackpool.

They have 10 apartments which sleep up to 5 people and some are wheelchair accessible. They make a nominal charge for the week.

2) Canal Boat Project

The Margaret Kane is a wide beam canal boat purpose built in 2007. Their mission is to provide memorable affordable holidays on the Lancaster Canal for families needing additional support.

There are 2 bedrooms and it is fitted with a wheelchair lift and accessible toilet as well as wide corridors and doors to cater for wheelchair access.
